NEW YORK CITY — New York City's Michael Bloomberg is now still the 7th richest person in the world, worth an estimated $94.5 billion, according to Forbes, whose list of the Richest Billionaires is one of several business rankings prominently mentioning our state in 2023.

Another prominent, but now-former, New Yorker also saw his fortunes fall in the last year: Donald Trump, now the 1,217th most-wealthy person in the world. Read more:
