NYC Weather: Second Storm Set To Soak City This Week

After a major storm dumped rain and left lingering winds Wednesday, another weather system promises to do the same later this week. A second major storm is set to hit New York City with up to 2 inches of rain, according to the National Weather Service's forecast. This follows a storm that dumped an inch of rain on Central Park and caused winds up to 61 mph in Queens. The city remained under multiple weather alerts, including a hazardous weather outlook and a coastal flood advisory. The weather is expected to clear up by Thursday, leading to sunny skies and highs in the 50s into Friday before rain returns as the workweek ends.
