David Crowe, a 33-year-old Seattle man, has been arrested for stalking and harassment after showing up at Taylor Swift's home in New York City twice in recent days. The arrests were made after Crowe allegedly tried to open the door to the Franklin Street home on Saturday, leading to his arrest on an outstanding warrant. The arrest did not deter Crowe from showing up again days later. Police responded to a call about an emotionally disturbed man acting erratically on Franklin Street Monday evening and found Crowe. NEW YORK CITY — An accused stalker was arrested after twice showing up at pop star Taylor Swift's home in New York City in recent days, according to police and reports.

Cops cuffed David Crowe, 33, outside Swift's Tribeca townhouse Monday evening and leveled stalking and harassment charges against him. Crowe, who hails from Seattle, Washington, had previously tried to open the door to the Franklin Street home Saturday, leading NYPD officers to question and arrest him on an outstanding warrant, ABC7 first reported.

The arrest evidently didn't deter Crowe from showing up again days later, at least based off accusations outlined by NYPD officials. Officers responded to a call about an emotionally disturbed man acting erratically on Franklin Street Monday about 6 p.m., police said.

They arrived and found Crowe, who authorities said was harassing people on the street. Crowe was arrested on the scene, police said.

Swift is no stranger to having suspected stalkers target her Tribeca home. A drunken man in 2022 crashed his car into Swift's building in an apparent bid to meet her, police said. Later that year, a Crown Heights man was arrested after twice entering the star's Tribeca properties.
