'Hit List' Found With Queens Brothers' Ghost Gun, Bomb Arsenal: DA

The 130-count indictment alleges that the illegal weapons were linked to a "hit list" of individuals named in the home. If convicted, the brothers each face up to 25 years in prison.

Those were the accusations leveled against Andrew and Angelos Hatziagelis, ages 39 and 51, by prosecutors Monday as they unveiled a sprawling 130-count indictment. The brothers' illegal arsenal was paired with a handwritten "Hit List" note, seemingly of song lyrics, that listed cops, judges, politicians, celebrities and bankers, according to photographs released by the Queens District Attorney's Office.
"Wipe out the scum," the list states.

Cops raided the home Jan. 17 after an investigation into the purchase of illegal ghost guns and parts for those types of weapon, authorities said. Inside, they found, according to a list provided by Queens prosecutors:
• Two loaded AR-15 style ghost gun assault weapons, each with a detachable magazine, muzzle compensator and threaded barrel
• Over 600 rounds of ammunition for each of the firearms above
• 29 high-capacity ammunition feeding devices, 13 of which were personally manufactured utilizing a 3D printer
• A radio set to the frequency of the 114th Precinct in Astoria
• Numerous notebooks containing instructions on the manufacture of explosive devices and anarchist related propaganda The Hatziagelis brothers face criminal charges of weapons possession, sales of firearms, unlawfully dealing with fireworks, among many others, prosecutors said. They're next set to appear in court Feb. 15 and face up to 25 years in prison, if convicted.
"The city is safer today," said Melinda Katz, district attorney for Queens, in a statement. "We cannot measure the number of lives that were saved, but we do know that these weapons will never hurt anyone."
