Chuck was in agreement with his popular cousin Punxsutawney Phil, who also didn't see his shadow at Gobbler's Knob in Pennsylvania. The prediction from Staten Island Chuck also came on the 10-year anniversary of the day that former Mayor Bill de Blasio infamously dropped the rodent, causing his (actually her) unceremonious death days later.
