NEW YORK CITY — The annual Puerto Rican Day Parade will take over the streets of Manhattan Sunday.

The 67th annual parade will close down Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 79th Street starting at 11 a.m. on June 9. This year’s theme is “Boricua de Corazón,” which translates to “Puerto Rican in your heart."

Honorees this year includes New York Yankees pitcher Marcus Stroman, who will be the "Athlete of the Year" DJ Frankie Cutlass, actor David Zayas and activist Victoria Cruz are among others who will also be honored.

Tito Nieves is this year's grand marshal. Musician Lisa “Lisa Lisa” Velez will be the parade's "madrina" and Ramón Rodriguez will be the "padrino". The following streets will be closed from Friday to June 9, according to the NYPD and city DOT:
