NEW YORK CITY — A pair of unrelated shootings not even 20 minutes apart left three New Yorkers, including two teens, dead over the weekend, police said.

The shooters in the two bloody incidents Sunday in Harlem and Flatbush remained on the loose a day later, authorities said. The first shooting unfolded in Harlem, where cops found Ashley Ballard, 18, and Harry Mendoza, 25, with fatal gunshot wounds in their heads, NYPD officials said.

Cops had responded to a 911 call about gunshots near East 128th Street and Lexington Avenue about 7:25 p.m. and discovered Ballard with wounds to her head and back, authorities said. She was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital about a half hour later, while Mendoza remained in critical condition before dying that night, police said.

As NYPD officers responded to the incident in Harlem, their counterparts in Brooklyn received a 911 call about 7:45 p.m. reporting a shot fired near East 37th Street and Church Avenue, official said. They arrived to Bruna Henriquez, 17, with gunshot wounds to his head and torso, police said.
